Install of Dewitts radiator today.
Got the new Dewitts radiator put in today with LMR 160 & billet housing also with over 4 gallons of Evans waterless coolant.
In hot traffic with the air on car was running 240, now running 210 in hot stop traffic with the air on.
Also all the other temp readings are down also.
I also put in the hallteck cold air box & intake. This weekend will also do the D/trinity hand tune for the car with headers & 3 inch mid pipe being on the car will see how it does this weekend.

Got Boost?!
Nice! Any way to do a base line dyno before you do the Diablo tune? Would be interesting to see a before and after dyno.

I wish I could but where I am at no dyno for over 100 miles away. Plus I have put the headers on the car & mid pipe a few weeks back. But would have be nice to have gotten a base line on her.

Your results would have been far more useful if you had not done the evans thing.
The evans coolant may have a much higher boiling point but it also has a much lower heat capacity and therefore runs higher temps than water all else being equal. Your car should not be at 240 deg in traffic. Or at 210 with the new low temp stat.
With the stock 192 you should be right around 200 to 210. With the lower temp stat and the AC running (keeps cooling fan on) you should be seeing temps well below 200.

But before in same case temp temp in car was up to 238.

Who knows with this new LT1 motor . Saw that one place has blown up a new 2016 z06 on the track again from overheat.
This winter will put a small blower on the car with a set of good pistons in it and much it up to about 650 to the rear wheel and be done with it. Will not go all out and crazy like I did the c5.

That is definitely a good reduction in temps. It must be hot there.

about like it is out your way in TX. Bad when true temp is like 97 but with hum/104. then in city with that crap but then again for the car before the coolant was just on the low side in the overflow tank but still good.

I had my car on the track Friday at Road America Ambient of 94 degrees and 30 minute sessions, my water temp NEVER went over 220 degrees, oil temps also stayed at about 260.
DeWitts is the answer to cooling woes with this car.
