Default Update

I had about 60 miles on the car since loading the Diablo tune, and after asking Mike and Lew some questions I was convinced that it picked up a little due to the computer learning and the fuel trims being positive. My butt dyno indicated an improvement in performance but I wanted to hit the track and find out just how much.

So I made it back to the track last night and went 11.59 on my first pass (no mph indication again), the DA was 1311'. Next pass was 11.54 @ 118.89, and the third pass I spun a little it was 11.85 @ 119.78. By the time I made my 4th pass the air was better (800' DA) but the car was pretty warm, I went 11.59 @ 118.58. I also think the reason for not picking up as much in the denser air is that my car could use more fuel. In my past racing experience if your car doesn't pick up as the air gets better it's a little lean. Which mine likely is due to running the canned tune and the only additional fuel coming from the trims/learning. Hopefully once Lew works his magic there will be a little more gained.

I have to say I'm happy with the improvement from the headers, I'm sure with a dialed in tune it will only get better. I will update again whenever I have more info.

That last pass, I was actually called out by a Hellcat....I'll make a new thread about that though
