I get the best zero to 60 times when I use launch control with my A8. One foot on the brake and accelerator on the floor - on green, release the brake. This is 100% bone stock results on a 60*F day after a tire warm up.

Based on my calculations my 0-60 was about 2.03 on that pass

I think you have it too Brent.

So I'm going to throw my shameless ECS plug in here, what other 3 mods (ok technically 4 if you count the drag radials) can you do to your car, at the price he has spent, that will make your car a 9 second territory ride?

Answer= Not many if any.

ECS really does give you the best bang for the buck IMHO, and we have this down to a science. We are also very happy to work with any of our dealers around the globe to achieve the same results for you if necessary.

Congrats awesome runs man!! your gonna shatter your 9.99 goal very soon!!
We've been playing with the A8 from the beginning, and had success early on, now that we have better control, its only gonna get better!!

Add our A8 Cam and you'll pick up at least 5mph for sure, we trapped 146!!

That is a hell of a 60'; do you have any concerns with the rear differential failing? A local friend of mine "has a friend" who has apparently broken 2 diffs on a C7. I figure if yours is holding up fine then this other guy must be doing something wrong and i shouldnt be too worried about it

He is probably in a manual and launching at 4K on drags right? If so yeah, I know some with the same issues.

Wow, that is some ET/MPH, still on the stock torque converter and only the first time out no less.
There is still more left in it for sure, from both the minor tweaking/fine tuning as well as the air/DA.
It's not a matter of 'if' it will go 9s, but 'when' it will go 9s.
