Default Cheaper route for 15" wheel conversion

has anyone gone or done a cheaper route
for the 15" rear wheel conversion ? l.g and carlysle mke kits but they are 4950 without the rims? Sorry but I don't see that justifiable cost just to run 15" rims.
this is what lg comes with
  • LLG Motorsports C7 Billet Drag Spindles
  • LG Motorsports Chrome Moly custom lower control arms
  • LG Motorsports custom one piece rear brake rotors
    LG Motorsports rear lowering boltsModified
GM single piston calipers in red
    GM caliper brackets
    rear brake pads and hardware
    Two lower control arm bolts
Ball joints installed into spindles and control arms
    All supporting hardware...

anyone done or recomend a cheaper route to run 15s...?

I may be wrong here but you may be able to put the stock c5 rear brake set up on it from a c5 parts car. may come out some what cheaper on the job.

I put the LG stuff with 15 weld bead lock rims on my c5 but I still had to grind down that little hump in the middle of the caliber on the stock c5 piece. Robert

Plus one guy in the c5 he had the c5 stock spindle cut down then had it welded back up also had a small piece welded on the back side where it was cut and welded also welded onto that making it more stronger. I really don't know if I would do that but he was still racing it on his c5 and the 15 inch rims fit his car. Robert
