I'm at the shop right now. I'm 5 hours from home so they put the rear run flat tires back on to get me home. They are shipping the Mickey Thompson tires and wheels to me. When I get home I will put non runflat tires on the front and let you know. I had 2 other C7 Z06 guys tell me that once they took the runflat tires upfront off the Mickey Thompson tires were fine.

Just got off the phone with my buddy that owns a shop near the Mickey Thompson plant. They actually had him run some test on the tires and again he said to get rid of the runflat tires on the front and the Mickeys will be great. I will know in a few days. All I know is that I have talked to 2 guys and they did it and all is good. They both went with Continental tires upfront. NON runflat.

So what are some good tires to run up front then? MPSS non runflats I would assume?

I think MPSS would be fine a great option. I had R888 all the way around before putting MT's on the back, so I have R888 up front and all is well. Once those are worn I'll swap to the PSS or the new PS4 to get more wear out them.

I have mine mounted on 18" C5 Z06 wheels, which don't really stick out past the fender because it is a 285.
