Can somebody answer this question.
Does a 2017 Corvette Z06 with a manual transmission have AFM valves in the exhaust???

Most manual transmissions and all Z06 models are not equipped with AFM valves. Here's a picture of what a Z06 should have (with NPP)...

Z06's do not have AFM valves. All other C7's, manual and auto DO HAVE AFM valves. All Z06's have NPP valves. Only C7's with the NPP exhaust option (and all Z51's) have the NPP valves.

That said, Borla is the best sounding exhaust IMO. Catless X pipe with the Borla S type NPP is amazing. By removing the secondary cats you get more volume and popping/cracking. But by having the S-Type vs the ATAK, you get a cleaner deeper sound. So the car has no drone at cruise, isnt overly loud going through a parking lot, but when you mash the gas its heavenly at a deafening volume.

Ready to make such an installation and having 2nd thoughts.
Thank you.
First thing I did to my GS was rip off the NPP and put on Corsa Xtremes
and a double Helixx X-Pipe.

Only regret is that I did not have the system sitting on the floor
the day I brought the car home

This is by far and away the #1 selling exhaust set up for CCA

Ah yes you are correct. All M7 cars 2017+ no longer have AFM valves. I believe the 2017+ A8 GS and Stingray do still have them.
