Oh yeah I know that yellow car. I see it during my regular 'Callaway' searches with pretend money on Cars.com.
The triple intercooler is the Number 1 reason why I'm in an SC627 over a Z06. That, and an unhealthy love for old Aerobody B2K's from the 80's.
From what I've seen on C6 Callaway builds, there is plenty left in the tank for further modding - hence the warranty - just like the OEM. It's a deliberately conservative tune that's meant to last 100K+ miles.
I was just on a thread where Vengeance Racing dialed a SC652 C6 Z06 up to 700+ RWHP. That's a block that I thought Callaway themselves were crazy for introducing forced induction to - let alone introducing a more aggressive tune.
I've also seen a SC606 that was on the market that had a tune.
Long story short, I'm sure the SC627's got more to offer if you want it - it's just whether you are willing to shell out the coin for it.
