Why would you want to swap out the M7's 3.42 gears with 2.41/2.56/2.73 gears. If you want to go slower, just don't give the car as much gas.

Yes the 3.42 would be too much. We do have something in the plan for the automatic cars once everything is up and running on the 3.90 and 4.10.

I know some high powered half mile cars reduce the gearing to cross the line in 4th instead of 5th to trap higher and more consistent.

I mis read that, yes you could put the 2.73 in place of the 3.42.

This would be the 4.10 variety and a 3.90 sitting next to it. We should have it in a car testing maybe late next week. Will keep you all posted. I know everyone has been patient, we have been working on this for over 3 years. It will be sooner rather than later and the C6ZO6 will be following up.

Any update on how testing is going? I know durability tests will take awhile, but a bunch of us are salivating!

Patience Grasshopper,

The first quantity shipment of 3.90 and 4.10 gear sets is on the water. It won't be long before I will be able to tell you that you can order.

For me it's looking like doing a A8 4000 stall converter vs the rear end gears. Both have taken a lot of time to come out.

In this picture you can see the newest WaveTrac differential flanked by C7 3.90:1 and 4.10:1 ring and pinion gear sets.

The C7 Ring and Pinion gear sets should be able to be ordered in approximately March.

The WaveTrac differential has no spider gears. I do not know of anyone who is manufacturing hardened C7 spider gears.

My understanding is Circle D is working on the converter per their Facebook page.

I'd like the converter and a rear gear ratio of about 2.90 for my base
Stingray.

Will the C7 ring and pinion gears fit the C6 Z06/ZR1?
