Can someone tell me what trouble codes P26C8 and U0101 relate to??

Sounds like you are losing communication to the transmission control module (u0101) and the first code is a result of that. Good luck.

From the Service Manual. "DTC P26C8 Chassis Control Module Requested MIL Illumination". "DTC U0101 Lost Communication With Transmission Control Module". As Rick stated the U0101 generated the P26C8 and the subsequent MIL.
