Well I replaced the ECM and BCM, and the ECM was a piece of cake to reflash and program, but the bcm on the other hand, is giving me a hard time my MDI 2 says no communication, it will not let me immobilize the ignition so I can program new key transmitters...
I am having the exact same issue with my driver seat it will not let me recline back so if I purchase new seat control modules and switched, do you think that will solve my issue?

I own a 2015 Coupe with flood damage too, I also replaced the ECM, BCM and seat control modules. It runs great, everything works like new. Only the driver seat will not move and recline backwards. I would appreciate if you share your solution. Thanks in advance !

Hey all! I've recently took the same leap you guys did and purchased a flooded 2015 z51 2lt coupe. I'm currently trying to get the seats working again. Where did you guys buy your replacement seat modules? I can't seem to find them anywhere on the net that has the same numbers as the original. Thanks.

I got mine from the dealer, luckily i have a commercial account with them so i get wholesale pricing. i paid 241 for both if im reading this receipt correctly. also bought the switches just in case for 65 each. radio module was bad also since it is in the passenger floor. that was 531 including programming at the dealer.

i had the same problem with the new seat module and basically one of the motors wasnt giving the module the correct voltage reading so the module wouldnt move that motor, but the motor worked with a jumper wire. so I used a jumper wire to get the seat exactly where i wanted it and unplugged the switch so noone could move it.

Hi kornbal, long time no here from. Hope you and your car are doing well. I had to get a non salvage because I don’t have dealer license. Your experience has been a great help to others.

It has been a while since ive posted, life has a tendency to do that to ya. The car is still doing fantastic. Im almost up to 19k miles already and loving every minute of it. Ive put long tube headers and an x pipe on as well as an AFE intake, and i just bought the GS Creations tail light blackouts which i like alot. Im glad the thread has given some other people the confidence to go for it also.
side note, if anyone wants to buy a salvage title from copart or IAAI i would be more than happy to be the broker for you and use my dealer license.

OP, don't flame me for this but your verbiage on trim level is incorrect. There is no such thing as 2014 C7 LT3, it is 2014 C7 3LT, they start with 1LT, 2LT and 3LT which is the top of the tier level for corvette C7. Just thought I educate you since you are a small car dealer it is important that you are politically correct in your trim levels etc... the motor is LT1, Z06 corvettes have LT4 and the new ZR1 is LT5. I hope that your purchase of this flooded car was worth it and you won't have many troubles and expenses. Good luck.

Kornbal07 - which wires did you jumper to get the seat motor to move? Thanks

You are a better man than I. As a kid I dealt with a lot of flood cars before they were all electronic and they were no fun. The stories I could tell!

Thanks for the info Kornbal. I called the dealer and gave them the numbers to my power seat module and the guy I spoke with apparently couldn't find the replacement part. Not sure if it's him or the system. Do you have the part numbers handy for the seat control modules that you purchased from your dealer?

Did you need to reflash your BCM or was it plug and play and everything stared working. My dash is now working and fan for heat and air. No headlights only driver door window works and no lock or unlock or door buttons.

Where did OP go? I’d like to hear how he made out with the car.

Hi all. My restore of a flooded 2015 z51 has hit the first snag. I had to purchase a new key fob. I followed the manual instructions about turning the trunk key 5 times within 10 seconds, but nothing shows up on the dash screen, so I can't program the fob. The only things that shows up is the original "corvette" message like when you initially open the door. Do any of you guys know what specific module controls this programming feature?

All wet
Have a 2010 torch red Grand Sport and yes it was totally underwater from Houston. Working through one issue at a time. Got key Fobs working. No key. Working on ABS issue and each one as it comes. Find all connectors and pull apart to blow them out. I tore apart the BCM and cleaned it up as well. Still have a lag in communications and working through it. Latest is cruise control P0315 and a crank variant issue. Allows car to go over rev limit. Cannot perform the recalibration yet. If you don't have the service manual get one. It helps
