Z51 coilovers
Looking for feedback on switching to coil-overs for my Z51 that I run in HPDE. Have been recommended to go with Pfadt coilovers and swaybar.
Anybody made this switch and are you satisfied? Open to other tried and true recommendations.

The LG stuff has to me more R&D behind it's parts that they put out more than anyone out here on the market. Plus they are 100% race the stuff that they put out.
I have a number of LG parts on my car & every one has done what I was told by the guys at the shop.
Unlike some in here that will post we have done the 1st 700 hp 800 hp 900 hp & 1000hp c7. Then also sale parts but will not help a person out when calling them to get a part from them that they sale. Tell you may be able to get it from a FORD dealership. Robert

X25, feedback as to how the car handles on the track is exactly my same experience before you changed suspension. Very frustrating to have someone come underneath, stay tighter to apex and put power down quicker. Huge disadvantage! Thanks for the detailed feedback. I will get in touch with the guys at LG.

just had the LG GT2 coilovers put on today. Haven't had them on the track but they feel great just around town. Feels really stable and stays completely flat. love them so far.
Only dropped about 1.5" so far. they may still settle over the next couple drives.

really get a great improvement with whatever set you choose.
To get the most out of a Coilover setup, you really need to be able to
corner weight the car. (and know what distribution you are needing
for any particular Track, Course, Tire Type, Brake Bias and Weight distribution)
LG Stuff is bullet proof and their custom service is top notch. All their stuff
has spent 1000's of hours on the track under the most demanding of conditions.
LG can set up their coilovers for your type of Corvette fun
The thing I really like about the Pfadt/aFe stuff is that all the parts
are designed and engineered to work together and build off of each
other. These parts were manufactured as Race Car Parts and then
brought to the street, not the other way around...
We do sell tons of Coilovers and have some good sales on LG and Pfadt
going on right now

Chip is a long time, dependable LG dealer, give him a call and we'll make sure you get the correct set up. For a Z51 car you'll also need our shock simulators so that the vehicle doesn't realize the shocks are in the spare parts bin. Dependent on your area I can recommend a shop for install and/or corner balancing.
Thanks!

The truth is that Coilovers have been around long enough that you
really get a great improvement with whatever set you choose.

Melting Slicks
How comparable is this in terms of how much noticeable gain you get to those guys using the Mag Ride controllers? Obviously I know the adjustability isn't quite as simple, but just curious? Does it turn the Z51 into a different animal?

He dropped from 1:58 to 1:52 Lap times. I have a Z51 I put the DSC controller on that dropped me from 1:27.3 to 1:27.0 at my local track. So Negligible. I'm sure it's better on the z06 since all the settings were designed for it. But with no specific z51 settings, not much benefit.
