Default 2017 Grand Sport air conditioner leak at 500 mile oil change

I just took my Grand Sport in for the 500 mile oil change. About 15 minutes later, the service manager informed me that I would have to leave the car due to an air conditioner leak. I spoke to the tech, who said the cars come with dye added to the refrigerant, and he could see oil on the cross member before he checked it for dye. I will be getting a call when they have more info. The service manager said it might be a big job. Anyone else have this issue?

Call me paranoid...go inspect your car at the dealer....I don't think there is dye in the AC refrigerant......I call BS....dealership screwed something up with your car, and is using the AC leak as a time-stall to fix what they did.....

Was the AC still working when you left it at the dealer?

I can't speak to whether there's dye in it or not (I suspect not) but if he sees the oil, he knows there's leak. Not sure what lead to the conspiracy theories above, but refrigerant has oil in it. That's how I spotted my own (non-Corvette) leak, no dye needed.
