Default Black Tips w/o replacing NPP exhaust system

Ok Black tips ....not a discussion for wether or not to get them , I get that there are multiple schools of thought there. What I am looking for is what you have done to get them black , or who you got them from. Pics are great but not necessary (assuming they are searchable on inet). I can tell you that I have plasti-dipped mine and while they look better.... they look Plasti-dipped. I understand Corsa has some options ???

I used BLACK CHROME auto paint from autozone. Corsa sells them at like 65.00 apiece. You will have to cut 2 of the stocker off of your car. Then weld the corsa onto the mufflers. Robert

I just painted mine with gloss black wheel paint then hit it with some high gloss wheel clear coat. I didn't even take them off the car.

That looks good. I have been debating to take it somewhere to get coated or try the painting method myself. I was just pondering if I should do the mufflers black also thinking you could see the color difference from the rear end but your setup looks great with just the tips painted.

Thank you, I was also worried about the muffle shining through but you don't notice them unless you bend down there to actually look through the hole

Where did you get the chrome ring around the pipes.

Love the look.

How did you tape the tips off? What brand of spray paint did you use?

Thank you. No chrome rings, think it's just the way the light is hitting it to make it look like chrome, it's pretty glossy

I did not tape off the tips, I pretty much taped off everything else though so I didn't get any over spray on the car.

I used the Vht wheel primer paint and clear coat
