Sounds nice, Do it. Report back on results. Since no forced induction, I wonder if they could leave AFM in? Just curious if any power upgrade can. Not really relevant, just wondering.

Keep in mind two things:

1) The power gains will be almost exclusively at higher RPMs. Is that where you use your car?

2) You're getting an aggressive idle cam which might compromise driveability.

That's the nice thing about supercharger packages. They add a ton of torque down low where you can use it and don't mess up your existing driveability.

If it were me, I'd save up for a blower. Then you get it at every stoplight. But if you believe that the way you'd USE these mods fits with your driving style (ie: mostly for sound on the street, or to be used at the track), then it'd make sense.

Also some supercharger kits are 50 state emissions legal, so if your area implements smog checks or you move to an area with smog checks, you don't have to worry about the mods. The kits are about $6500 to $8000 plus labor. An example is the Edelbrock E-force. I've not used this one so no first hand experience.

Says AFM & VVT delete at the bottom.

$10k is a bit steep, but I'm all about NA. Looks like essentially a H/C package.

Did a little more looking around, because I've seen H/C for the GenV at half that price in the past. Looks like that is more or less inline with most other offerings today. Plus it looks like they're bundling it with a warranty. Hmm. Something to consider there.

Big horsepower increase but not much of a torque increase over stock. I would rather have a supercharger.

I've looked at their packages as well. None of them mention the necessary upgrades to the fuel system, nor improvements to the transmission. I'd sure want an upgraded clutch assembly. Don't know what the auto can handle.

Thoughts?
