Does anybody out there have any ideas of what tires and wheels to use for drag racing I have a 2016 z51 package ARH long tubes no cats E85 sensor magnusum supercharger new fuel system for high and low fuel and tune.
Tried 305/35/20 don't fit off by 1inch in height . Please help ready to go to the track but cant until this tire problem is figured out.
Thank You for what help you offer.
Best rim & tire for the track would be a 15 inch lite weight bead lock rim with a 275x15 non dot MT tire that I have had on the car. With the rear brakes on the c7 I would look at a 18 inch rim with a hoosier DR dot tire on it very soft side wall. Robert
Do you know if a 18 in wheel will fit with the Z51 package ?
The setup I'm currently using on my 2015 Z51 with about 630 rwhp, that hooks well at the track is:
C5 Z06 SPEEDLINES 18x10.5 Wheels
HOOSIER 315 30 R18 Tires
I am running 2004 Speedline wheels. 18x10.5, doesn't stick out at all. Tires are MT ET Street S/S drag radials in 285/40R18. Car is fully lowered on stock bolts and no rubbing, thing hooks like crazy at the track and I am at 785whp.

That's good enough, they look good. Did you paint them? I thought they were only available in silver?
I got them sprayed in a a material similar to plasti-dip, but stronger and more durable. Made them gloss black and they turned out quite nice IMO. Guy called them wheel skinz, idk. Was $100 and these are just track wheels.
