I've only had 1 ticket,about 20 yrs ago.
Driving what we all drive,we know we are being "profiled".
In some cases it makes you a better/safer driver knowing you are watched.

20-something mustangs, 9 vettes, a Shelby cobra kit car, too many tickets to count and put 2 9sec vette to sleep permanently. Pretty freakin sure I pay the most damn insurance here. Congrats to you Dave, you lucky as bastard, thanks for reminding me of the loser I am

Many times the tickets come in phases. I am seeing a lot more LEO's in my area this year than previous 5.

I'm lucky to go a year.
My last one was 80 in an empty 70mph zone. I was baffled he pulled me over, but considering I was just doing 120 through the turns, I didn't get too upset.
Most of the others are speed trap bullshit. Speed limit on the highway goes from 70mph (City of Dallas) to 60 (55?) as soon as I get into a tiny suburb city. Ironically, there is far less traffic and an extra lane All tickets are fundraisers.

They write me tickets. I plead not guilty. I plea bargain them to parking violations. Every. Time.

I hit 140mph several times last Monday and Tuesday and averaged 90mph for about 25minutes straight and no tickets. Oh yeah i was at Watkins glen. There was a bunch of other cars with me that were acting the same. LOL

Safety Car
The last time I was pulled over, which is also the last ticket I've ever received, was in 1987, when I was 19. I just realized that this means I haven't been pulled over, ticketed, or in an accident in 30 years!

When you consider the cars we drive, I figure that's a pretty good run. I have six cars with >500hp, and according to Onstar's Smart Driver, I do a lot of "Hard Acceleration", but have managed to "stay clean" for a long time.
Anyone else have a longer run without a citation? I figure there's a large share of luck involved too....
