30 years since I've been pulled over
The last time I was pulled over, which is also the last ticket I've ever received, was in 1987, when I was 19. I just realized that this means I haven't been pulled over, ticketed, or in an accident in 30 years!

When you consider the cars we drive, I figure that's a pretty good run. I have six cars with >500hp, and according to Onstar's Smart Driver, I do a lot of "Hard Acceleration", but have managed to "stay clean" for a long time.
Anyone else have a longer run without a citation? I figure there's a large share of luck involved too....

20 years of driving been pulled over 3 times; twice for tint and once for speeding. Zero tickets however *knock on wood* ... And I used to be a knuckle head on my sportbikes and cars.

I was pulled over for speeding way back in 1988.
I have been pulled over since. Funny thing is my now x was pulled over the same day. We had to go to traffic school. We both end up in the same class. The instructor has a blast with that.

Here in Florida, its more about driving defensively.
...and I'm not certain there's a law on the books that says it's illegal to do 0-70 (in a 70 zone) in 5 seconds, as long as it's done safely (not sideways, smoking tires, etc.). This is my weakness.

In a dream / nightmare I had one evening... I got ticketed for 81 mph in a 65 mph about two months after I got my Corvette. I was going 145 mph saw the police man and thought I had slowed down to 65 mph but somehow he got me before I made it. If I had been going 145 mph when I went by him I may have not stopped.

Haven't been pulled over and given a ticket since 1972! God knows I am way over due. Have had plenty of triple digit runs but none at night. Like to think there is a smart way to speed and a dumb way. Rarely speed in town and never close to where I live. Have ran many a fast motorcycle as well as the Corvettes but never speed in the truck or Jeep.
Just turned 64 and never had an accident either.

pulled over 1970 on motorcycle no ticket though. gone all these years clean. insurance tripled. Said i was due to have an accident. cancelled them. Feel good though. clean record. but your right. there are too many un predicable drivers today. Always trying to look out for the other guy.

In 1987 when I was 18, your life and my life took completely different paths.

I used to get pulled over all the time for petty things. Never in the Vette though, just the damn company Ford truck. Only one ticket in the last 25 years and that was with photo radar on the freeway, and in the POS Company Ford Super Duty. Regrettably, I flipped and totaled my 84 Z/28 H.O. on a curve one night in 1987 and was given a speeding ticket. Went to court and beat that BS speeding ticket. Road was slightly wet from an earlier light rain and nobody else was on the road, so how could they prove I was speeding. After the law breaking officer got caught lying thru his teeth on the stand, I pretty much lost all respect for our law enforcing Servants.

I dodged a ticket yesterday
Was on my way back from the Oregon coast on the downhill side of a very long passing lane I jumped on it to pass a few cars just as I passed the last car I see a State Trooper parked about 50 yards ahead. I look at the HUD and it says 90MPH, OOPS! Speed limit was 55.
I instinctively down shift which only accentuated how fast I was going. As I pass his patrol car I look in the rear view mirror waiting for him to hit his lights. I wait and wait...NOTHING!
He didn't pull out and soon I was out of sight but still I'm thinking I will see those lights soon. Never did. He must have been a Vette owner.

27 years for me. Instant-on radar in the middle of nowhere. I was about to ge a warning until he noticed I had a radar detector. Still gave me a break in the reported speed, however.
