Pilot Sport A/S 3+ or Stock Super Sport ZP Tires Wet Track
I have two track events this week and it looks like showers/rain both days (Seattle area of course). First is a one day proformance driving school and the other a autocross (novice class). Temperatures in the 60 - 70 degree range. What tire is recommended? I have both sets mounted on OEM Corvette wheels for my 2017 non-Z51 A8.

the PSS are vastly superior in dry and slightly superior in wet per tire rack times. The ZPs are even better in dry for the corvette. Stick to the PSS.

ASW3's and 3+'s are horrible with lateral grip in wet/snow conditions.
I've had both on other cars including the 3+'s on my S4. The 3+ is a better driving tire and better dry traction. Good wet traction in a straight line but as soon as you put a bit of load laterally in the rain they are pretty poor in that regard.
The 3's were much better but looks like they gave up that lateral wet grip to gain everything else.
I would stick with ZP's, they are more impressive and predictive than you would think in the wet.
