What do I need to swap out the base rotors? I'd like to use DBA 5000s. I have z51 wheels and tires on the vehicle already. Thx

Must upgrade the calipers to Z51 calipers to use Z51 rotors. The hub/knuckle are the same on both models.

Ok thx, ill look for a used set. I read somewhere they were the same. Think its the rears only. May also have a color problem, i like my grey calipers. Thx FYREANT.

Yes the rears are the same. The fronts are bigger. They do not make grey fronts. Here is a guide to do the full replacement that I wrote previously:

You only need the front caliper, the rear caliper is the same on both the base and Z51 model. I did that upgrade about 3 months ago, but went with DBA 4000 rotors. If you keep you eyes open on the forum, the Z51 calipers will come up for sale on occasion. That is where I got mine. Good Luck. If I can answer any questions, please let me know. Safe Driving, Tony

You might want to look at the cooling ducting as well since you are upgrading to the z51 brakes. I'm putting the ducting in using the base grille rather than changing out grilles. Cooling is always good regardless of which brakes you use.
