Phenominal video capturing the build progression from start to finish!!

May I ask (since I don't know), what generally causes a gap between HP and Torque, such as for this build 71 lb ft of torque (627/556). What is necessary to close that gap and increase the torque?

What is more important at this level of performance, HP or TQ?

Thanks in advance!!

What causes the gap between hp and torque? Bore/stroke, cylinder head design, intake/exhaust airflow/design, camshaft/valve events, compression ratio, fuel type, spark/injection events are all major factors. Remember horsepower is just torque over time.

LOVE this package. Very interested in getting it. I had ‘16 Z06, how does this package compare to a stock Z06? Pretty similar in terms of power and delivery?

Thank you for posting those, very interesting to compare. The 427 is so nicely linear, and not so torquey down low, probably makes for a little more useable power and a ton of fun! Also noticed it appears redline is raised! I actually called a couple days ago. I'll be sending you an e-mail for more info soon. Thank you.

Default Cost for the Katech 700 HP upgrade

My C7 Z put 710 HP and 748 TQ to the wheels, but I'm seriously thinking about getting a Admiral blue Grand Sport M7 for a track car, then upgrade the motor to this package! Any idea of the cost involved?

Slick build so congrats on that. Curios to me it looks like the knock sensor is in the wrong spot on the driver side first pic? I thought it sits up under a metal heat shield up near the top right? Maybe the LT1's are different. Also with all that money in the build going for a fast revving N/A why oh why didn't they remove all that rotating mass from the VVT assembly using your Billet VVT delete? That sucker is 10lbs or close to it vs a 1lb ish for the LS3 replacement sprocket. That would have made it topped off for sure less stress on the valvetrain (chain, etc.) and sure looked nice. Just my thoughts I guess the buck has to stop somewhere unfortunately I was incapable of doing so on my build. So kudos to saving money :-). It's nice to see vid's making it look so easy and quick to pull these motors out lol.
