Yes. In order to be able to utilize the flex fuel setup and use E85 you need a tune.

There's no need to use a wrench either on the fuel line or the wiring harness. Pinning the ECM is still an unavoidable evil, but everything else is super quick. These use 316SS hardline to ensure long life, durability, and complete corrosion resistance against ethanol.

Default sensor bracket to hold

hey guys I installed the sensor and works perfectly but I could not help to notice the sensor is being held solely by the rail line. Please correct me if I am wrong but would that extra weight by the sensor with engine vibration and common driving cause the o-ring in the line to fail and cause a leak? I thought about doing some zip ties to help with the weight but might look crappy, anyone has any thoughts on this?

thanks

heres my dyno sheet ARH long headers intake and e85

anyone made a bracket or customized it so its not just hanging in the air by the line or so it does not move so much? correct me if I am wrong but a trackday taking hard turns all day moving from side to side that should kill those o-rings no?, check out the video how it vibrates

There were a run of faulty 45* fittings on the C6 ZR1 kits, but otherwise I don’t really hear of leaks.

Are you planning to run any sales on this kit through the month of November?

I install flex fuel sensor & made a bracket that will help keep secured. This bracket is not ridged but holds extra weight from being hard on fuel connections.

And now that I ordered one, what is the best way to get the tune done. No concerns over warranty.

Okay, recieved. Quick ship, thanks DSX. Install won't be an issue. For tuning -

Buy an HPtuner? Find someone in Socal? Do it myself with HP tuner?

Planning on other stuff, but slow going. Drive it 150 miles a day and e85 should be interesting. I have done it on many cars before - but older cars that did not benefit as much.

in CA I’m at over 3.70 for premium. I’m not sure if many notice but the car is regularity in knock retard in 91 octane even in normal driving.

Tye e85 is 2.70 tops. E85 is about 30% less btu. So I think it will wash and the car will stay healthier.

Also, be careful about the E85 you use. I had been using Sheetz until I got it tested at my performance shop. Turns out it was absolute garbage. Mostly 93 octane and very little ethanol.

When running full e85 on the stock LT1 fuel system, what are the power limits before fueling becomes an issue?

Below 600 wheel. Like 525 if we’re talking full E without meth.
