Generally speaking - scratches from car covers come from putting it
on a car that is not clean or dust and dirt that have accumulated in the
fabric
If the car is clean and the car cover is clean, you should not have any problems

Car will be outside, I do plan to use the car in the winter when the weather allows. we do get some significant snow fall and very cold temperatures - for reference I am based in south PA.

The very best cover (also very heavy) is the Autobody Armour by
Coverking (also the most expensive) This cover is like a fortress
for your car and can handle just about anything tossed at it
https://www.corvettepartsandaccessor...arts/coverking
The next option I would suggest is a medium weight cover from
Covercraft called the Noah - It is one of the most popular covers
we sell for the North East
https://www.corvettepartsandaccessor...ercraft?page=2
The next option is a medium/light cover called the Weathertech from
Covercraft
https://www.corvettepartsandaccessor...ercraft?page=2
Those are what I would suggest for high snow / rain / ice NE/NC
winter climate outdoors

I appreciate your being online here, and answering questions. I park outside at work. Socal. Sun baking for 10 hours. Well, the sun gets cooler from 4 or 5pm. But you get the picture.
I am currently using a silvery non-fabric cover and it seems very harsh. Basically, I want to UV protect without having the cover be harsh (again, not really fabric, more plasticy).
What do you suggest? It will also be used inside, but obviously not as important. If its cloudy or rainy I will not be covering the car, as I don't care if it gets wet - I just don't like it sitting in direct sun. And it will - all day, M-F.
