FYI, I have tried 3 different places to buy the M/T front skinnies with no luck.
None in stock until at least the middle of April.

Jeg's/Summit due mid to late April.
Also tried McCormick Racing, was told sometime between April and August.
My first track runs of the new season are at the end of march.
I may be going with just the rears on.

Hopefully people who decided to go extra wide are not doing so for 1/4 mile performance.
A 345 drag radial on 12 inch rim is way more tire than most people need and comes with it's share of heightened risks and disadvantages.
-more strain on the clutch and/or trans
-more expensive tires and rims
-more strain on the drivetrain and parts in general
-more rolling resistance
-more weight
-more need to throw extra power at the launch
-often less gearing
-etc.
Plus the narrow tire has been proven to produce killer 60' times and subsequent et's in both manual and auto configurations for vettes in the c5,c6,c7 platform at all power levels and configurations.
For example:
1.3x's with 255 radial manual c5 500hp
1.32 with 275 radial manual c5 700hp
1.34 with 235 slick manual c5 under 500hp
mid 1.3's with 255 and 275 radials all day long in c5/c6 under 500hp
low 1.5x with 245 radial manual c7 GS on 2nd pass ever with stock clutch
mid 1.3x with a 255 radial turbo c5 goes 8.8
… and just recently our c5 brutha goes 5.2 1/8 mile@131 on a 235 radial.
So the initial point of this thread was to let people know that they can get the job done with a narrow drag radial and save money and reduce stress on their car for most combos. Looking for rims and tires for my Z06 M7's rears, going to leave the fronts all stock (few said it's fine). What size rims and tires would you guys suggest? My car before this was AWD so I never looked into aftermarket rims and wheels, so this is all new to me! Rear rims I seen people use from 18x9 18x10, 18x11 to 18x12, some even uses 17 in diameter. Rear tire width I read from 275 to 345, I think most common is 305 and 315? but that's a big range and kind of confusing. So my goal is just to see how fast I can get the car to go, but don't want to break parts or breaking records etc. Can you guys recommend the right rims size and tire size for me? or whatever people use the most.
So yeah car is stock, probably will leave it stock for awhile, and don't want to be too harsh on the car while running it etc. Usually I baby it! But never tried drag radial tires before so want to experience it, and also want to use the full 650hp to the fullest potential.
Saw a lot of deals over the weekend, so it really got me tempted! thanks for your help.

9-10 inch rim, you mean the width of the rims right, not diameter.
