Default Setup for tracking a Z51 w/o mag ride?

C7 folks - a '14 Z51 base car with no mag ride. It has "Track" mode on the selector but no PTM right? So If I turned AH/TCS off and did track mode it will firm the steering, make the exhaust louder, and adjust the e-diff? Anything missing?

Put another way, what configuration would you use to track one for an advanced driver?

I think the best you can do is put it on track mode and hold the center mode button down for a few seconds to turn all the nannies off. If auto leave it in regular drive.

I purchased a C7 Z51 specifically without mag ride so I can have coil overs. Anyways, to answer your question, put it in track mode. If you push the traction button once it will turn traction control off, if you tap it again it will put it in competition mode, which will allow you to have a good bit of slip angle BUT stability control will still come in if you really over drive it. You can hold the traction button down and turn everything off if you'd like.

When I did Ron Fellows a couple years back I got stuck with a car without mag ride and they had us put it in track mode, hit the center button twice, and go into competition mode as you describe. I thought it performed quite well on the track too.

Thanks everyone... so track mode and everything off. In this mode I'll have firmer steering and the e-diff doing whatever it does in track mode and loud exhaust right? That's really all there is to adjust.

Doubt you have an e-diff.

All Z51s have that.
