Default 2017 Stingray Automatic shifting problems

When I stop at a stop sign after driving 35 mph the car bucks right before it stops. This seems more pronounced first thing in the morning when the car is not totally warmed up, but it still happens occasionally after warm up. It almost seems like it is down shifting roughly. It is an 8 speed auto. Thanks

Thanks, tomorrow I will let it warm up before I drive it and see what happens. I hate to bring it to the dealer when it working normal. But I have learned that you want to get it on the record in case the problem persists and the warranty runs out!. Thanks for the info

I brought the car to the dealer they said it was a common issue and to drive the car for 5,000 miles, bring it back and they will re-program it.

I have the same issue in Sport mode. Does not seem as noticeable in touring or Eco, but who stays in those..lol Mine is going to the dealer for dash separation so they are going to reprogram it then. What bothers me more is going from reverse to drive. I have a 2 second delay after switching to D before the gears engage. For example, R to D, feel the tranny engage but no power to wheels. 2 seconds later a very abrupt engagement of the drive line and its ready to go.

Op, how many miles do you have on the car. As stated above, you need to drive it for a while. these things learn and adjust as you drive.

2,200 miles. Luckily I also noticed a very small speck on my chrome wheels they said it was a "factory defect" and they are replacing the wheel. That speck would have gotten bigger and bigger over time.

The A/C is not as cold as it should be most of the time. I have to keep the fan on max & re-circulate to make it comfortable. They have recharged it twice but they said it didn't need it. Other than that it is a great car! Thanks
