Base Model to Z51 brake upgrade
I want to upgrade my 2016 base model to Z51 brakes using DBA4000 rotors and the Z51 calipers. I'm trying to stay away from the old style rotor and cooling ring included with the Chevy Kit Part number 23386143. I'll be adding the brake ducts and Z06 grill as well.
Will it fit with stock wheels?

Yes.
The only issue is with the OEM Z51 front pads, as they have little extended weights on the outer edge of the front pad base that may need to be removed to clear the 18" non-Z51 stock wheels. Aftermarket brake pads don't have the problem, as they don't have the extended weights.

Please consider the better upgrade to APRacing. I have a full BBK for sale here: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...r-c7-used.html
The APRacing BBK provides braking and cooling far superior to the Z51 package while eliminated 10 pounds of unsprung weight up front and 6 pounds in the rear.
They are stronger and smaller than the Z51 calipers in all dimensions and have absolutely no clearance issues with any C7 wheel application.
Please contact me if I can be of any help to you.
Thank you!
