Default M/T 325/35/18 ET street R radial

This looks like a great tire for our cars
Anyone have pics curious how wide they really are and how they fit on a 18x12 Repro wheel

They should fit fine.. I ran the 325/30-19 ET Street S/S on 19x12 C7Z repos before my drag pack wheels came Here is a comparison between those and the 325/35-18s above

Default ttt

Paul that should work really good man. I am running a 12 1/2 inch rim on the rear now with a R888R 345x30x19 with all of it under the z06 rear fender & lowered on stock bolt as low as it can go now.

No rubbing are nothing on it. Robert

guys please remember that while the tires may not rub when driving them around, when they are hot and you get up to 100+ MPH, the tires will expand quite a bit, and will likely rub at that point.

No track time yet due to not having WOT tune done yet. But have been over 100 mph on the interstate & cleaned it up a little today didn't see no rubbing. I do understand the tire will get taller for sure good so far.

Buddy thanks for the help on the rear diff set up. Robert

That might be a touch lighter than the Hoosier.

Edit..M/T web page has it listed at 33 lbs.

Unsure a radial will grow as much as say a slick would(1" etc), especially these lower profile ones

Lol.. wow. Didn't realize that. Thought the radials would be less prone to it.

If you don't remove the bolt in the picture below (behind rear wheel on both sides of car), it will rub a line into the tire tread.. 😳

Mounted weight is 57 lbs.

Next track outing is on the 15th.

Default ttt

Paul also look at the Hoosier 335/30r/18 & the 335/35r/18 & ALSO the 325/45r/18 I really liked the Hoosier in the c5 better than the MT for the street tire didnt last as long but did hook up better than the MT.

I know one of these three will wk for what ever as far as a diam tire will do on the car. Robert

I tried out the Radial R Friday night and it performs just fine.

10.73, 10.77, and 10.75. MPH was 128-129.

The air quality was worse than the 2 previous outings with the shorter Hoosier 315 X 18, but the et's were the same.

Very short burnout in second and up to the line.

In fact, the second run I drove around the water and just scrubbed the tire
real quick and it still dead hooks.

My guess is that with similar air quality, MY car should be quicker with this tire even being an inch taller than the Hoosier.

PDR shows the car going through the lights at about 5100 with the M/T, and about 5400 with the Hoosier. 5th gear, A8.

Hope this info helps someone out there.

This is great news Mike. How did it feel on the high side? Any swaying or floaty feeling?
