Really looking forward to this one. I just don't get why Magnuson didn't make revisions for port injection given the long wait and expectation of the 2650. Anyways good vibes and I'm sure it will do well. Do you have any expectations of what she'll put down??

Good Luck!

Finally finished. This is the dyno on just 91 octane noting else. 786whp & 698wtq not a bad start. But on 93 0r 94 or E85 it would make over 800 whp.

Good start indeed. How much boost are you running? What upper/lower pulley size?

For now I'm running 16.5 psi. Using a 5% lower and a 3.0 " upper. 👍🏾

Did it clear the stock hood without any modifications? Solid numbers so far for 91!

Thanks. We'll be heading back to the dyno in the next few weeks. Should be over 800 whp. Still on 91 octane. Still with cats and 1 3/4 mid lenght ARH. Headers. Here's a pic with my hood liner. It barley touches. The front corners. But no modifications!

nice, guessing the 16 hood liner would have to be changed then
car currently has no heads and cam?
just headers and blower?
blower loud?
definitely need some videos and a release date
was there a base line done?

The 2016 liner touched a little more so put the 17 liner on for a little more clearance. The goal is to remain stick looking..

I do have a small cam.,I wanted stock idle but wiith the 38% fuel lobe. I also have dsx auxiliary fuel pump And stock heads. You need the fuel. If I did the injectors I could go up 2 more psi. But For anyone who wants more. You could do 93 or e85 with 2 inch headers and no cats and a big cam and heads. That could be 45+ whp.

I had to put a breather can in the car. Mighty mouse solutions. Hard part was finding a locating for it. Other then that nothing new. I having some new s/c pulleys made. Just to play with boost a little more. Just Enjoying the Car for now. I'll post more when we go back to the dyno.

It sucks that you ended up with a cracked sleeve.
Do you think it had too much boost/timing on 91 octane causing too much detonation?

I have seen the stock bottom end take way more power reliably if they are dialed in right for the fuel in use.
Hopefully you will have her patched up soon.

It has nothing to do with tune. The tune is not aggressive. There as never been a trace of knock on any pulls or highway pulls .knock sensors are on in factory setting. We didn't numb them down. The motor was sleeved because I hurt a piston before (meth) and I wanted stock size pistons. And not over sizes ones. So why that sleeve cracked. I guess I'll find out when it comes apart.
Trust me I'm curious
