Magnuson 2650 opinion
Fellas, I am really interested in getting the Magnuson 2650 supercharger when it comes out this summer. Do you like the look of the supercharger out of the hood or a raised hood? I'm leaning more towards a raised hood for a clean look. How many inches of raised hood do you think will be necessary to house that beast? thanks

with the blower that is designed to go through the hood like the one on the Magnusson Camaro. That blower looks kick-a$$, but actually the under hood model will perform better.
Depending on your objective, you might just go with the baby 2300 now. With proper mods that will take you into the 800-900 range depending on other mods.

I'm trying to build my perfect version of A Streetcar on 91 octane without using my meth injection
Since everything is still a prototype we have no idea how much boost I'll be able to run hopefully 14 to 15 psi on 91 only.
The break down.
Maguson 2650 ( prototype)
Texas Speed CNC ported head package
Texas a Speed cam. 38 % fuel lobe
103 Kong Perfromance T.B.
DSX tuning low side fuel pump
Intake
AR headers
Act light weight billet clutch and flywheel (prototype)
Snow perfromance meth injection.
Which I don't want to have to rely on!
That's a start but the list may change as the demands of supercharger aren't fully known.

Magnuson 2650 in my hands!
I didn't mention e85. Do to the fact e85 requires more fuel. We're not sure if I'll have enough fuel to support 91 yet. But I'm am set up for e85.

If you are stuck on a PD blower then do a Whipple so you have port injection capability. Centri blower is a better option unless you like to blow the tires off at lower RPM. That said nothing stacks up to a turbo for power production and efficiency. https://www.edgyvette.com/product/ev...power-package/
We made 841whp/780wtq on the STOCK LT4 fuel system and have gone well over 1000whp repeatedly with fuel mods included in our EV1150 package.
We can take care of you no matter what you want. Give us a shout at Sales@Edgyvette.com and we will make sure you are on track to big power with max cost v. benefit; even if you dont buy anything from us. You got one chance to get it right. We can help you out with that.

PS here is the HP curve comparison of a C7 M7 with 416 CI, blower cam and YSi-B on 22.5 v. our EV 1150 single turbo package on 19.5psi

It's Good to see you made 840 + whp on pump gas. Without meth. But your message really as nothing to do with what we are doing. This is a prototype blower from magnuson supercharger. I'm testing it to see what we can do in 91 octane. But if you want to (give) me a whipple. Magnuson did. I'll test that 1 too. The only other mag 2650 being tested is more race set up. And it's over 1000 whp as well with meth. But thats still not not what we are doing. So let's see what happens. Stay tuned.

Looking forward to how the 2650 works for you. I've heard a lot of scuttlebutt about fuel delivery to support all that air being an issue.

KC2GIW. It's nice you spent your own money. But it's not about your money. This is About a car build. I've built a number of 2000 +hp. Plus 6 second 1/4 mile cars on my own dollar. But. When it come to r&d you have to build your own parts. From your own cnc to tig to cad designs. So all you really told me, is someone built your car u paid for. So please stay on course. I trying to build a complete kit for the people who may want 1 for street. So let's see how it goes.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Sorry for the slow updates. Since this is a street set up, we run into small fitment issues (red katech valves covers didn't clear the supercharger). Had to modify stock valve covers. Everything is pretty much done and should firing it up this week.
