I use a Harbor freight alum jack at the track. I have jacking pucks mounted to the jack points. I lift one side of the car up at a time.

In short, don't drop your height more than 1", or it might not work.

Those are great looking wheels. I have an Admiral Blue GS and would love to hear from you if you ever decide to sell them. I am heading to my second track day next weekend since buying the car last summer. So much fun to this never ending money pit called track days.

Money Pit I love it. However it cheap compared to the boat I sold. LOL

I would laugh at this comment except I have a floating money pit too.

I am confused by the tire sizing of the P Zeros. Did I see that some are running 315 rears and others are running 345 rears? That's a big difference. I would love it if someone could post the size of the slicks they use for each brand and where they are buying the used slicks. I would love to go with the blue wheels but my wife says that is too homey

Are you actually running the R7 size tires that you list last on your cheat sheet. When I look at both the Discount Tire size calculator and my spreadsheet I made I get 25.4 for the front and 27.5 for the rears. That puts the size ratio at 8% instead of the stock 3%.

I would likely get 12.5" rear wheels so I just want to know if you are running that size without the nannies pitching a fit.

This question may have been answered 100 times, so please excuse my noobiness in advance:
For c7 widebody, has anyone had any rubbing issues with 18x11 in the front, esp with 315/30 tires?

The 315/30 will rub a little based on reports in other threads.

Ooo. So what is the recommended 18" front tire size for no rub at all?

I don't know. Seems like everything rubs a little. It just rubs on the plastic trim.

I’m running the 315/345 sizes R7’s. I bought a set of used R7’s in the 285/335 size to test them out. Have not tried them yet. I do run with traction control completely off.

My 315’s do not rub. They only touch the liner at full steering lock, and don’t leave marks.

Thank you for that. I guess I will just have to try. 315 R7's also are a lot wider than 315 R88R's when you see them side by side, so that makes me feel a bit more confident on the 315/30/18 r888r's.

Note: I am not lowered. I have the car corner balanced in the stock ride height range. And I am running a very aggressive street alignment. -2.5 camber up front.

I would really appreciate knowing how the test goes on the used set you bought. That is the size I am looking at running and by my calculations the ratio of offsets should be within the tolerance of the traction control nannies.

I should have an answer for you within a month or so. I’m looking forward to tying them as they drop 9 pounds of weight off from the 315/345 combo!
