Worlds first GS at the track with just 3 mods

I actually was going to comment as I was hearing this as well on every shift into 5th gear.
I think it's the A8 going into 5th gear on the stock trans tune. GM has something in the tune that makes the car sorta drag into 5th gear. I could actually see Torque Management Advance dragging through the shift into 5th instead of the quick in/out of the 1,2,3,4 shifts on my car. I sold my A8 car and now have an M7 but I always thought the converter was locking up right after the 5th gear shift. I would see my datalog show desired TC slip drop to near 0rpm. The RPM's don't drop as fast as every other shift but rather kind of hang. I ended up selling my A8 car before I tuned the TCM so the above was just my theory based on my datalogs and others complaints of the same thing.
It has been a complaint on other 2017+ A8 cars. I have seen multiple datalogs of the same thing happening. I think with as much power as he's making its exaggerated. I also think he will go faster in the 1/4 once he tunes the TCM.
