Default TPMS drag radials

Is there any downside to not installing tpms sensors on my track set up. I have a 2015 base stingray and if I dont need to install the Id rather save that cash for something else I figure sonce Im going to be running anywhere from 16 to 22 psi its pointless to instll them as I will still get the warning

I run them in mine. No point in trying to save $50 on a safety device on a $100,000 car. Besides, you can drive home from the strip on them.

Without them you'll lose DSC and a bunch of features if the car gets worked up about the missing sensors. But the same could happen from low pressures, of course, but I just can't see trying to omit them.
