Here are 255/35r18 and 295/30r19 r888rs on base wheels
Also on Autocross and road racing section
I'll be using this thread to track laptime improvements at my local track...
Just FYI since i just got these mounted (pep boys refused to, discount did them quickly and happily). PICTURES HERE http://www.imgur.com/gallery/Nu8Nd
My R888Rs measurements are on point with Tirerack's (unlike Hankook R-S3 v2). These fit pretty well on base C7 wheels, just a tad wide. The tread widths are almost identical to stock C7 Z51 245/285 sizes although the R888R are called a 255/295.
Stock tires:
MPSS 245/35r19, section width 9.8, tread width 9.6
MPSS 285/30r20, section width 11.4, tread width 11.2
-best 3 lap average 1:25.5.
Current tires:
Hankook R-S3 245/35r19 section width 9.50, tread 8.75
Hankook R-S3 285/35r20 section width 10.75, tread 10.0
-best 3 lap average of 1:27.5 first time out after running the MPSS, so about 2 seconds slower than stock. Best 3 lap average 4 track days later was a 1:26.3. I think I could hit mid to low 1:24s on the stock MPSS right now if I had them (the hankooks gave me a tire width and gearing disadvantage)
New tires, hopefully I hit 1:23s or 1:22s (also have a DSC sport controller, good brake pads now and will have a gearing advantage over stock for this track):
Toyo R888R 255/35r18 section width 10.0, tread 9.25
Toyo R888R 295/30r19 section width 11.75, tread 11.25
With all this mumbo jumbo, here is a video of the 1:25.43 on MPSSS and no-lift-shift goodness before last turn:
and of more recent low 1:26's on hankooks:
