So, this will stop the limp mode the guys are getting when they drive the car hard at the track?

We are not claiming that this is a singular fix for transmission overheating issues, however it does offer improvement. We are building a C7 Z06 A8 track car now that has this pan as well as additional transmission oil coolers.

Looks nice. What's a fluid level check tube? Does this allow the checking of the fluid level? I like the drain plug.

In the front of the pan there is a spill-over tube. You fill the pan until fluid reaches the level of the top of that tube and starts overflowing it and out the bottom.

It's too damn good looking to be on the underside of the car where it can't be seen!

Do you have any performance data on how much of a temperature difference the pan alone will make? I've got a non-Z51 Stingray with the A8 and it's getting rather hot on the track. In round numbers, is this good for a 10* temperature reduction or a 50* temperature reduction?

Also, do you have any installation instructions? And you mention in an earlier post of this being part of a more involved cooling system upgrade. What other specific items are you adding?
Thanks for your time.

And what are those calculations if I may ask? What do you expect to see with the addition of this $1000 piece of equipment. I'm looking for cost vs reward.

Would love some track data with before and after (preferably HPDE).
$1,000 is a huge investment for a transmission oil pan. I am curious on whether merely DEI wrapping the exhausts on the side of the transmission pans will lend to heat deflection and achieve the same goal for a fraction of the price.
I am also curious on the threading of the drain plug on your pan. Would it strip if accidentally torqued too high?

I would love this pan but I cannot afford to give up my GM warranty. It is a shame.
