It may not have one. Or have you tried moving it up and down into view with the HUD switch near you left knee?

Yes, I tried the obvious things (switches position, fuse ). Looking down at the dash from the outside in my dark garage , I see no light. How do you check / replace bulb?

There is no bulb. It is a sealed unit with a display and mirror that projects the image on the windshield. If it is out, it is an expensive part that is not easy to replace. You might be able to get one out of a wrecked C7. Good luck

The HUD on my '15 stopped working. It came back a few time but now nothing. Yes, I'd checked the up & down button, brightness, fuse 25. Nada..
OP, did you figured what wrong with yours. Thought I ask here first before I take it to the dealer. It's due for ZAXTEK coating & oil change anyway.

thanks

Hold the + (or UP) on the brightness for 10 seconds while the engine is running. This last bit is important.
