Yes and the older versions you had to have an off/on switch. Many of us have upgraded and now no need for the switch

I turned AFM off with my Diablo I3 tuner , huge difference in the way it drives plus it sounds better with the NPP open now ( mild to wild)

Check out this thread about the latest version:

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...r-17-18-s.html

Just be sure you get the latest version which appears to have all the bugs worked out. Go to Range directly and you will get the right one with really good service from Range.

I the I3 tuner any good? That is my question. There just don't seem to be many reviews online or I am looking in the wrong spot. What if you make a mistake with an entry? Can the profile be saved before changes and can that be restored? I just don't feel comfortable having something connected to the port all the time.

I did not want anything that was plugged in either , I also did not like all the earlier problems that the range caused so I used the tuner which has a simple ON OFF switch for AFM take literally 3 minutes to change

Its absolutely foolproof , if you screw something up with the tuner you are trying really hard !!

And you have the ability to restore the original tune and NOBODY can tell that you had a tune in the first place ( let the flame war begin from all the internet mechanics lol lol .... )

Email me thru the forums if you would like more information on it

Default Which disabler. Diablo Sprint or the Range.

I like the Sprint because it turns off when the engine is not running . The Range is on all the time which puts a drain on the battery . Some one out there knows witch one is the best and most trouble free . thank you for reading and support . dk.

I believe the Diablo is just a relabeled range unit. V8.6 range units do not have the battery drain issue. I have had one in my 17 GS for six months and no problems. I even contacted Range about the battery issue; the tech rep insisted V8.6 now has a true sleep mode and does not drain the battery.

I just installed the Range v8.6 yesterday.
I had the TC issue so they flushed it. I don't want to get the TC replaced if I can avoid it.
Works great no AFM/v4 anymore.
car drives and shifts normal. No more v4 to v8 and they auto down shifts.
