Hi guys here is a few pictures of my progress.

im preparing for the NASA weekend at Buttonwillow

I ran the car in time trial last year 1 week after I bought it and won Saturday, got second Sunday with a bone stock car ( track alignment) and the stock Michelin’s.

Car is a 2017 GS with CCBs

many thanks to everyone here, this is where I got most my info.

So here is a list of my few mods and prep

Corbeau seat bracket/sliders

shark bar
Schroth harnesses
braille lightweight battery #11
pagid brake pads
RBF 600 brake fluid
Motul 300V 15w50 engine oil
Forgeline wheels/Hoosiers ( thanks Ben at weapon x)

and LOTS of driving lessons

What are the specs on the wheels?

Yes the airbag light is going off and a little annoying

the wheels are forgeline 18x11 front and 18x12.5 rear

with the 12.5 rear I don’t have interference issues at full droop but I’m limited to 1.7 camber in the rear.

car did really well at the event this weekend, 2nd place and the only car in the top 10 cars that didn’t come on a trailer. The only car that beat me in class was a gutted 996 GT3 on slicks.

The car weighed in at 2230 with half tank of gas!

Congratulations! Sounds fun.

I know some guys are running a 18x13 or 19x13, but they must be really limited to negative camber.

Do you think you would have preferred just 18x12's in the rear?

VetteWorks was working on an airbag light fix for the C7 a few months ago when I reached out to them. They made one for the C6. You may want to reach out to them to see if they have a solution:

You can try these guys as well:

looking back I may have just gotten 12 inch rears, I like the option of being able to add more camber although I’m getting great wear with only 1.7 degrees in the rear.

thanks for the link!!
