Default Advice on squeezing more out of my NA Z51 making 491 rwhp

Hey guys ,
you can see my build below , Im making 491 to the wheel . I initially wanted to supercharge but I like the idea of a NA build. I’d like to see 550rwhp through some add ons but at the same time not spend as much as I would just supercharging.

Any advice where to go from here . At this point will headers /xpipe add an increase in performance or is it just sound . I have npp with deleted cats so it already sounds pretty mean so to spend $2500 (parts/tune)on those things to gain 10hp wouldn’t really make sense to me ? Or should I expect to see much more : Any other mods that will help?

I don’t see your build but you’ll be hard pressed to get to 550 without heads, cam, headers, MSD intake

Can’t really help you but is there a thread where you list how much HP each of these mods gave you? Would love to know where to start.

418Ci would be a good start. But really, anything you do is just going to make the car more a of a race motor.

It really depends on what kind of driving you do. Most street drivers really like PD blowers with the instant torque. Torque is what shoves you into the seat. Torque accelerates the car.

Man that must be a generous dyno.

Those coil packs were a waste of money.

Actually if you add the parts up..... their claims add up to about that. I’m a believer. Or real dam close.

And I think you’d be wrong not to add a good set of headers to your list to obtain your goal. All that you added is making that motor breath, you absolutely need the headers for iceing on the cake. No builder who makes horsepower wouldn’t.

Nice set-up and great power.
You have the very best tuner, I would ask him for advice on how to add some more HP.

If your trying to break 500rwhp, you will are going to be spending $3-5K basically. Longtubes 1000, heads/cam $2500, installed 1500. And then get it tuned again.

Always remember, a dyno is a tuning tool and is used to compare before & after mods. Did you have your car on the dyno before the mods? How much power did you gain? Just saying the car made 490rwhp doesn't tell anyone anything and 99% of people with similar mods, is well over the "norm".

The track is where you can see your MPH and will tell you how "fast" the car is and how much power its making.

.
Sadly those prices are elevated quite a bit on the LT1, a cam kit with all the required parts to delete the DOD and AFM on avaerage is about $2000-2500 and heads range from $2000-3500 and most are charging $2k plus for install plus tune. I’ve been researching it quite a bit, these are more complicated than the previous LSx.

Gents , Very quick to doubt , thats pretty sad , have some faith, no need to lie when I'm looking for advice . When I purchased it all mods and initial tune was done by NICKEY performance in Chicago making 491rwhp. Video is attached for you The stickers have since been removed , I purchased it like this from someone that is clearly a county boy
Im now in Florida and Jeremy is the MAN when it comes to tuning c7. When I took it to him 3 months ago , the vehicle was running 93 octane and when he put it on the dyno , he made 471 rwhp( no e85 ) . It might actually make 500 but I was trying to be as honest as possible. Feel better now ??

It looks like supercharging might be the better route ?

A dyno is only a tuning tool to test before and after. Numbers can be skewed by using the wrong gears or correction factors. Any that dyno was being very generous. Just don't go calling out any 500whp cars that were dyno'd on a different dyno or you will get gapped.

Dude just stop already !!! It was dynoed by 2 very well known tuners at about 500rwhp .. that’s how many of us measure our vehicles power . It’s obvious You got called out and you obviously want the last word . You are no help to my question so just walk out
