Default Can windows be re-indexed without disconnecting battery first?

The drivers door on my 2016 Z51 has always been a little hard to shut so I want to re-index the window. Can this be done without disconnecting the battery by maybe finding an option in the DIC menu somewhere? Or maybe by just following the procedure to roll the window up and hold the button in the up position for 3 seconds, release and repeat?

Just do the procedure and that will reset it. Lower window, hold in down position for 5 seconds, raise window and hold switch in up position for 5 seconds.

From the Owner's Manual for my 2014:

Window Indexing and
Express-Up Reset
Window indexing may be required if
the vehicle battery has been
recharged or disconnected, or is not
working. Express-up and the
convertible top will not function until
the windows are reset. After battery
power is restored, a message or
code displays in the Driver
Information Center. See Driver
Information Center (DIC) on
page 5-23.
Once power is restored:
1. Close the doors.
2. Start the vehicle.
3. Hold the window switch up to the
fully closed position.

Will this indexing fix the problem on my 2017 coupe where the passenger window goes up and then automatically goes back down when using express up?

Mine is hard to shut to. It's like the car is to tight. Let me know if it helps. Thanks

I just traded for a 16 Z06. Requested a user name change.
