Ok. I’m a new first time vette owner. Bought a new 2018 m-7 1Lt stingray 3 mo. Ago. Love the car, wanted more growel so I removed fuse #42, I see exhaust film on all four tips, but not really hearing a big difference? Is there something else I can do without spending $ on exhaust to improve the sound of this impressive power plant? I’m retired, not a lot of extra cash to blow, I know this has been talked about a lot but somehow I missed it. Is there a place in the dic I can make a change to increase the volume? Thanx in advance for the help, you guys are very good at giving good advice wish I knew half as much about these new vettes.

Are you sure you have NPP exhaust?

With fuse 42 out, the valves will never close and with an M7 in Sport or Track it will never go into 4 cylinder mode. At this point it is as good as it gets for free. More noise will cost some dollars. Probably a non catalyst X pipe would be most bang for the buck.

before I pulled the fuse only two tips would get dirty, after the pull all four get dirty. Why would I have a #42 fuse if not for npp exhaust? Am I missing something?

Borla xpipe removes the secondary cats that are not monitored, gives it a good bit more growl along with the "42 fuse you have already pulled
