I would for the amount of labor involved why not spend $100 for a machine shop to balance and have that piece of mind? Since you reused your flywheel anyway.

I have changed many a clutch using the oem flywheel in my day and never have I balanced the assembly nor did I need to
Are you sure your vibration issues are not torque tube related ?

I agree you can always take the chance my only point is with the amount of labor and alignment of torque tube it's just not worth it to take a chance of it not being a balanced assembly. Would you put new tires on your same rims and not balance those? Which reminds me how does the vibration feel? Describe that?

Clutch and pressure plates are balanced during manufacture and there unless there is some gross mis alignment between the clutch and pressure plate there is no need for balancing . I have changed more than a few clutches and never once came across one that has caused vibration . Not even sure how one would even go about balancing the assembly as you would need to do the clutch presure plate and the flywheel as a unit ...
