LT4 HPFP added to LT1 w SC for ~40 hp gain :)
Self installed an LT4 HPFP. Got it for $615 on rockauto.com. I had Cordes Performance Racing update my tune and got an additional 38 rwhp and 39 ft-lb of wheel torque. Totally happy with that!

I agree I am going with a ported MSD intake from Mamo, Then now I am sending that out to info@prometh.com in CA to have them drill out all 8 holes & install there set up into them. So now when I go into boost all 8 holes will be getting good meth. Not a bad price at all for all the work this way I know the system will be correct...Robert

This is one fun car!
Nice results! However, I would think that if the gains were fuel related then they would only have shown up on the higher rpm and horsepower end of the graph where the stock pump was running out of fuel. The stock fuel pump should have been sufficient at the lower rpm/hp levels. The gap does increase linear but almost all stock vs tuned dyno results do this too. I assume due to percentage increases. Maybe it was just a superior tune? Either way that is good power.

correct he has a higher ethanol %

Tuner was probably just running it real safe across the board knowing it would starve up top so that the car didn't fall flat on it's face up top and lean out.

Im not a fan of fully relying on meth for big power. If you run out or your meth system malfunctions, kiss your engine goodbye in that scenario. An OEM-style HPFP will be way more reliable than a meth pump every single time. In my experience, replacing a meth pump every year or two is not uncommon. I don’t mind meth for some extra cooling and a little extra fuel, but fully relying on it every time you boost is not a great idea in my humble opinion.
