I am Installing the GM intake for a Grand Sport and one instruction is to cut an existing tie strap and install another with slightly different attachment. I have followed instructions and it now sits lower on the frame but it’s Rubbing on the hood strut!! Is this correct?

Also the coolant line does not clear one corner and can’t be fastened at the inner fender.
