C7 Z51 A8 bolt-on mods
Hey guys i have a stock '15 C7 Z51 A8 and my best run so far is 11.8 at 117. Im interested in getting ARH 1 7/8, ported heads, ported im, vararam cai, e85 tune. Was wondering what kind of rwhp id be looking at with these mods?

Oh ok. That'd be good number for sure. Hoping i could get closer to 500 rwhp especially with ported heads. I've searched and seen some guys have got 470+ with similar mods without ported heads though.

^^^ OP if you are going with the E85 on a z51 car I would look at doing the LT4 inj and pump also in the car at the same time. Robert

Will that be needed though. Not planning on doing anymore mods after these just full bolt ons. I've heard the stock injectors are good up to full bolt ons

We have pushed the stock LT1 Highside to trap 148mph 1/4 mile running e40 and meth. Depends on your entire package when to upgrade highside fueling to LT4 or better. The low side fueling will drop first before the highside.

Every bolt on Stingray we have done with flex fuel has been on stock injectors and injection pump. No problems at that level on e85.

Shouldn't have any issues getting near or slightly over 500rwhp on stock cam, especially with the ported heads. Just know that a dyno is simply a tuning tool to be used as a before/after measuring stick. They all will read slightly different and the true test is track performance. One thing we are seeing on the LT cars is the tuning is a huge factor. I obviously recommend my tuner Brett @ Pray Performance. He can do remote tunes also. He has a bigger presence on the Camaro6 forums, but an LT1 is an LT1.
