Default 2016 Z06 3LZ - Best way to make it faster

All
I would like to add about 200 HP to my Z06. Yea I know why, right? Can anyone share with me what you have done to your ZO6 to make it faster? I do not believe a Pro Charger is the way to go. I was talking to someone about E85, cold air return, headers, increased size full pump, different injectors etc. I am looking to spend about $16,000.

I would say your best bet is drag radials to make use of the power you already have, unless you're for some reason not traction limited like the rest of us! In the summer I run Nittos and the car FEELS monstrously faster because it hooks. And it's how it feels that matters most of the time!

However, if you're more of a roll racer or are concerned with your trap MPH, horsepower will fix that :-)

Where are you located?

You don't need a different size fuel pump or injectors......

If you're looking to add some power to your Z my advice would be to do a cold air intake, camshaft, headers, upper and lower pulley, and flex fuel (e85). This will warrant around 700 rear wheel horsepower without breaking the bank. This would be somewhere in the 12-15K range depending on the shop.

The best way to make any car quicker is to take a high performance driving school like Bondurant or Skip Barber.

I went to Ron Fellows last week and took the corvette training. I was best in class. It was a lot of fun.

Start with a bigger blower. I like the Maggie 2.3. However they have a 2.6 out now I believe. There is also the Whipple 2.9. With the supporting mods they will all get you what your looking for.

Whats the goal with the car, why 200 hp? Power is pointless if you can't get it to hook. Are you M7 or A8?
As others have stated and since you don't want a procharger can start doing the basic boltons , fuel mods with a drag pack and tire. That will make the car feel alive. Reasses then spend some more money on the likes of a different blower or maybe a small shot.

As you can tell here, there are many ways to skin a cat. Making another ~200HP is definitely doable with the stock LT4 blower, but will take most every trick in the book if you aren't doing methanol injection or E85. Our Stage IV package will get you there for right around your proposed price point which would involve a heads/cam package, full bolt-ons, and a ported supercharger. If we can assist on this for you at all please do not hesitate to e-mail me at david@vengeanceracing.net and we can discuss some options further!

Okay, we can't provide it all and your are lucky to have a pretty good budget. What we can do is get you faster off the line and out of the curve with our Modified Throttle Bodies (MTB). If you go for other intake Mods our MTB will be a good complement too at WOT. Only at 2-3% of your budget.
