Default Drag week help. Need to run 10.50s keeping warranty

Ok, so I'm running drag week 2019 with my c7z. I'm in the SME class which has a limit of 10.0. No biggie, I'm not going to see that.
But I would like to make the 32 car run off at the end of the week. The time cutoff gets a little faster every year, 2018 was 10.65. 2019 will be at tracks that are considerably closer to zero DA. I assume the top 32 will be in the 10.50 range because of this. My dilemma is I need to run 10.50s or slightly faster and still retain my drivetrain warranty, and NOT go into limp mode while racing.
Current best 100% stock is 11.01( and 11.04) at 3k DA. And I need practice driving (pdr told me I'm a ***** out the hole lol).
If I can learn to launch and see 1k or less da I should be 10.6-10.7. This means I need to find another .25 time reduction.

I have an AFE cai that will be going on.
Rear drag pack 18x12 (Hoosier a7s), but these may get changed to something with a little tread in case we get caught in rain.
Also will be adding a 170 tstat to help stay below 194*. Hey, hp is hp in this case.
I will be removing the stage 2 spoiler winglets for stage 1, and removing stage 3 splitter winglets to stage 2. This probably wont met much, but every little bit helps.
I also have everything to have a 9 second car sitting in the garage, but that is not my goal this year.

I'm open to ideas to help find that last .25.
I appreciate the feedback.
Thanks,
Jeremiah

If the tune is stock, forget everything you know about launching an auto. Do not lean on the converter with the brake and throttle, just leave off idle with a quick roll, and get off the brake BEFORE you hit that throttle. Otherwise, you will alert the stock tune torque management police and the brutality will begin. The first 2 sec of the run will suck...

Watching the pdr my first 2 seconds suck! I dont know if its 100% me or possibly the car. I'm leaning towards me. I'm thinking I still feather the throttle even with the Hoosiers on.

Good info! Thanks. I try it.
