If you're 500 + rwhp & stock rear Please LMK
I want to install 3.90 gears with 426 rwhp and 436 rwtq. I'm contemplating using the Wavetrack differential. If anyone is making over 500 + rwhp using the stock rear please let me know.

I think a large amount of people are 500+whp with a stock rear end... I myself am at 840whp with the stock rear end and have quite a few launches on it. Probably 50+ track passes ranging from 580whp-840whp. Though I think mines at the end of its life and will bust on me soon.

I think you'll find hardly anyone under 700whp will touch their diff. On an LT1 that's just headers/blower/meth and on the LT4 that's bolt ons. Its not till cars start to see 800whp+ where people are building their engines and such where people will start to risk and replace the diff and axels. That's just from my observations. If mine busts this year, I will probably look at the 4-gear replacement.

You can make 1000 hp. Just make sure you dont hook :P
I feel like the fuse right now is the tires. You start adding super sticky stuff and things are under a lot more stress.

I was planning on launching at 3800-3900 rpm until I change the diff. Later on just before I swap the diff, I'll try a few 4500 rpm launches.

In here people have posted up broke axles & half shafts & the spider gears from 550 plus to in the mid 600 rwhp breaking all of these parts here. But again just if up are dead hooking & the tires on the car then to could just have a weak part someplace on it.
I am doing a build now on stock CI motor all forged with only a A/A TI blower smallest pulley on it with meth also. I have done are doing all my running gear stuff are just Insurance to hope it holds. Believe me on these stock parts at 550 to the wheels these part will not hold that all & if the CAR hooks up one day like really killer it will brake some time down the road.
Had a friend a few years back in his c5 build motor & hit it just right broke a axles doing over 100 mph on a track ended up in the way & his car was gone. He just pieced out part from motor trans & rear. So I try to do all I can to stop crap like that only a few thousand more $$. What is that to your like & car... Robert

Thanks Robert, I've been researching and heard the same thing. I'll take that in consideration.
