Default Best long tube catless headers??? LT1

Hey guys just wondering from your experiences what the best catless headers for a base model might be?? Looking for something that will bolt right up to my borla x pipe (60547)

Thanks for any info

You will not find long tube that bolt to that midpipe, you need the mid length. Long tubes have their own xpipe. Arh, kooks are top quality.

I would think twice about going cat less ( let the flames war start ) some say that their car does not smell but I know when I first started my C6 with High Flow Cats the smell of gas was overwhelming until they heated up , this is the reason why the factory Cats are bolted right to the exhaust manifold , for quick warm up. I have seen and smelled some NO Cat Setups and can tell you first hand that you will smell gas , sitting at a light with your windows open , its not the tune …… Having Cats is worth the 3 to 5 HP loss you might get

I have Kooks LTH. Yes, I can smell the gas. Doesn't bother me one bit. As mentioned earlier, there is not LTH to bolt up with your Borla x-pipe.

I have the ARH long tubes with no cats. They sound amazing and the smell isn't bad at all. I actually prefer the non cat smell over the nasty cat smell.

I had TSP long tubes, a 160 degree t stat, Knn cai, custom tune and my '14 C7 Z51 still ran HOT under spirited driving. Look at things like an oil cooler kit and/or spal dual fan kit.
