Z06 one wheel burnout!!?
Hello guys,
On Sunday I brought my modded 2017 Z (720whp) to the track to get some passes in. After a few passes I had a guy come up to me and tell me that my back left wheel was barley spinning during the burnout.
Now.. I'm wondering if it was because the car was hooking to the left during the burnout that if when I corrected the angle with steering input if the ELSD was compensating for me turning the wheel and causing only one tire to spin.
Does that make sense or is my diff about to fail? I drive the car very hard all the time and it seems okay but I also didn't notice that only one tire was spinning until someone told me either.

Has the trans or diff ever been out of the car? If so, and the module and lines where not removed wth the diff still connected, there WILL be air in the ELSD clutch system. HP tuners and EFI Live cannot perform this function, dealer/GM software is needed.

See your dealer or someone who has the latest GM software to test/cycle/bleed the elsd. Beyond that, the elsd clutch pack may need replacement. You’ll know during the bleed procedure because the ATF will come out dark and burnt smelling...

Here's a handy pic I took - as you can see, there's a clutch pack that can/should bond the wheels. I suspect yours is not operating properly... I don't know how the dealer would test it though, does anyone else? And hopefully not with a big parking lot burnout...

As I stated, there is a bleed procedure for the elsd clutch. I have built several of these units, if air is in the elsd pump or clutch, it can 1-wheel. It can also cook the elsd clutch while this is happening.
I have a zo6 diff here if someone needs one...

So....you replaced the clutch on the engine and that solved your one-leg issue on the diff? Alrighty then...
My guess is that the bleed procedure was done after the clutch install. This can be avoided by dropping the pump assembly with the diff/trans and leaving the lines hooked up.
