Default Any pics of your C7 with Forgestar D5’s ?

Not much going on here or any other site I could find regarding info or just pics of a C7 Stingray with Forgestar D5 18”x11” rear wheels. I just ordered a rear set of wheels from edgyvette (Cajun) and have Hoosier 315/30/18 drag radials on the way. Just excited to finally commit to the rear drag setup. These will be more than enough for the drag strip as I have the A8 with only 577rwhp at this time. I wanted a light weight and wide tire setup for traction on the street.

I’ll post up pics once mounted. It sounds like a month or two

If you have or had these post up pics, your thoughts ....

315/30/18 Hoosiers arrived today. Can’t wait for the D5’s

They should hook extremely well on the street

I am not sure if they are making them with custom offset for my car or not. I placed my order stating I had a 2015 base Stingray.

Ah OK. Interested to see the result. The only one in that size per their chart is for a supra I think it said. Post up pics when they're in!

I sent a message regarding your post and it looks like at this time ... you were 100% correct and there was a mistake on the other end. Let’s see how this works out this coming week.

Bummer. I was really hoping they had some sizes for us. I've been waiting patiently.

Ok .... so order is placed. 18” D5’s with beadlocks. Don’t need the beadlocks at my current power level but who knows what I’ll do upping the power in the future

Will update this thread with pics once they arrive

you need to run a 18x11.5 83mm offset for those tires. the wheels forgestar have are the incorrect offset and wont even come close to fitment you need on a base model. however they will work on zo6 and gs

I hope you are wrong.
Was told the D5’s with beadlocks are made specifically for narrow body C7 Stingrays. The standard D5’s are for Z’s.

Arrived today

Don’t have time to get the Drag radials mounted on the wheels right now. Hopefully this weekend and yes I’ll be looking for YouTube videos to see how the tires are mounted along with the bolts being applied.

Anybody that’s has experience with this .... post up here. Thanks !!

By just looking at the wheel I am willing to bet they will fit great. Even with the wide DR’s.

Once tires are on and and wheels mounted ... I believe others will start buying them from Cajun.

I was was extremely nervous at first and up until they arrived. I’m 99.9% at this time.

When I opened the first box and pulled off the packaging and saw the first wheel I could see the offset looked like what I thought. A relief I will add

Best prices on Forgestar and many others. The real plus is the constant communication and updates

18”x10.5 65

My tire choice aside.... I don’t think any issues.

Side note... last year I mounted but sold a 18”x10” reproduction w/ a MT 345/30/18 drag radial and it stuck out a little over 1”.

With this wheel and tire combo I can’t see it being any issue
